Delicate Floating Heart Earrings

Why yes, Valentines Day is next month. LOVE it or HATE it, hopefully you will still enjoy this tutorial =)

What you will need:

Heart hole puncher (JoAnn Fabrics, under $5)
Construction paper (DollarTree) OR Scrap Booking paper (JoAnn Fabrics)
String ( I used sewing thread)
Fish Hook Earrings (JoAnn Fabrics)
Tacky Glue
Scissors

Instructions:

Hole punch 16 hearts (makes 4 hearts for each earring). Cut string to desired length, leaving slack at the top to attach the fish hook earring last. Apply a dot of tacky glue to one heart and place the end of string onto it. "Sandwich" your heart with another heart to secure both hearts and string. Repeat steps 3 more times, until you have a string of 4 hearts. You may use as many hearts, depending on desired length, just be sure to space them evenly apart. You can use a ruler, I used my best judgment and used the first finished string of hearts as a model for the second string of hearts. After your hearts have dried, whole punch 2 additional hearts. Loop string through hook earring and place the end of string onto the first top heart. Apply a dot of glue and sandwich with another heart to secure.
